The Admissions Manager is a core member of the School’s leadership responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all aspects of the student admissions process. The postholder provides strategic oversight of enrolment growth, leads the Admissions team, ensures a high standard of customer service, and maintains robust data systems to support school decision-making.
This role plays a critical part in promoting the school to prospective families, ensuring alignment with HIMLAMIS strategic priorities, safeguarding protocols, and Vietnamese educational regulations.
This role is subject to safeguarding protocols, including background checks and child protection training in line with CIS standards and Vietnamese law.

Strategic Leadership
- Lead the development and implementation of the school’s Admissions Plan to meet annual enrolment targets across all pathways in both Kindergarten and Inter-Level.
- Analyse market trends and school data to recommend strategies that enhance enquiry conversion, retention, and onboarding success.
- Report regularly to the School Director and Board on enrolment data, conversion pipelines, and projected numbers.
- Forge and maintain strong working relationships with relocation agents, embassies, local businesses, and feeder schools to widen the prospective parent base.

Operational Management
- Oversee all stages of the admissions process from initial enquiry to enrolment and onboarding, ensuring each step reflects the school’s values and professional standards.
- Ensure admissions procedures are implemented consistently and align with internal policies and CIS safeguarding standards.
- Coordinate with Academic Leadership, Student & Parent Care/School Office, and Operations to ensure smooth transitions for new and departing students.
- Maintain and improve CRM and MIS platforms, ensuring accuracy and functionality for enrolment reporting and forecasting.

Team Leadership and Development
- Supervise and guide the Admissions team to deliver high-quality service to prospective families.
- Set and monitor KPIs for the Admissions team including lead response times, conversion rates, and service satisfaction scores.
- Lead regular training and coaching sessions to develop staff knowledge of HIMLAMIS curricula, school culture, and customer care standards.
- Foster a team culture of responsiveness, attention to detail, and cross-cultural sensitivity.

Relationship Management and Parent Engagement
- Act as the primary contact point for high-priority admissions cases or concerns, representing the school with empathy and professionalism.
- Attend key school events, open days, and fairs to build rapport with current and prospective families.
- Handle sensitive admissions cases such as student withdrawals, delayed onboarding, or special placements with discretion and care.

Policy Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese law (MoET), safeguarding practices, and CIS international standards in all admissions matters.
- Conduct internal reviews of admissions procedures annually and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and data privacy across all student records and admissions communications
